WHAT: Graduation of 22 San Pasqual Academy seniors, foster youth who have successfully completed their coursework and look forward to college and employment.

WHY: Against-the-odds high school graduation of San Diego County foster youth.
San Pasqual Academy is the first-in-the-nation residential education campus for foster teens. The Academy is providing these young people in “the system” with a quality education, a stable living environment and an opportunity to learn independent living skills. The Academy is a place the foster youth call home, a growing campus reaching out to the private sector and business community to help assure the continued success of the foster youth through mentoring, volunteering and financial support.
