Charitable giving is an American tradition – a way to turn yesterday’s dreams into today’s realities, a way to turn today’s despair into tomorrow’s hope. The San Diego County Employees' Charitable Organization (CECO) makes it easy for the employees and retirees of County of San Diego and Superior Court, to be a part of the American tradition of giving.

Sign Up for Payroll Deductions..
- Employees of County of San Diego and Superior Court may sign up via Employee Self-Service (available through the County intranet website). For as little as $2.00 a pay period (that’s less than a good cup of coffee), your donation will be automatically deducted from your paycheck. That’s a tax-deductible gift you can track on your paycheck advice/warrant – without ever having to remember to write a check. If you have questions about Employee Self-Service, please contact your Department HR/Payroll Office.
- Retirees of the County of San Diego and Superior Court who wish to contribute to CECO must complete the "Request for County Employees Charitable Organization (CECO)" form, which is available from the SDCERA website, Forms page. This form authorizes SDCERA to deduct from your monthly retirement allowance.
Note: If you were contributing to CECO prior to retirement and want to continue contributing as a retiree, you must fill out the "Request for County Employees Charitable Organization (CECO)" form.
