The 2010 Smart Money Summit, held on August 14th, was a great success thanks to all of the volunteers, banks and non-profits who spent their weekend helping people with their financial questions and needs. Hundreds of county residents enjoyed the day while learning about financial stability and economic recovery.
Councilman Tony Young and I serve as co-chairs for the City/County Reinvestment Task Force, which sponsored the event. The annual Smart Money Summit is a FREE one-day/one-stop community resource event that offers a series of workshops and booths on a wide range of financial topics. This year's event took place in my district at the Jacobs Center, located at 404 Euclid Avenue, San Diego, 92114.
