Department of Environmental Health Downtown Offices, including SAM and the Monitoring Well Program, have moved to the County Operations Center.
Our new physical address is 5500 Overland Avenue, Suite 110, San Diego, CA 92123. The Environmental Health public reception area is located on the first floor and SAM offices are located on the second floor. All documents submitted to SAM should continue to be sent to P.O. Box 129261, San Diego, CA 92112-9261 and email addresses have not changed. The primary goal of the Site Assessment and Mitigation Program (SAM) is to protect public health, water resources, and the environment from releases of contaminants by providing oversight of assessments and cleanups in accordance with the California Health and Safety Code and the California Code of Regulations (CCR).
