Arnold Way (South Grade Road to Petra Way) in Alpine is CLOSED due to a water main break.
Update Jan 31: Padre Dam Municipal Water District is working to make permanent pipe and road repairs caused by the water main break on Arnold Way in Alpine. The District was pumping water into their reservoirs over the weekend to insure continuous uninterrupted water supply to the Alpine community.
A detour on Arnold Way between South Grade Road and Petra Way remains in effect. Please avoid the area if possible and watch out for crews working to make these repairs.

In these winter months, please be especially vigilant for DPW crews plowing our mountain highways, clearing trees and other debris from our County roadways, and working to keep our roads safe and passable.
