Violence Prevention for Youth
The Office of Violence Prevention (OVP) focuses on efforts to reduce and prevent youth violence. OVP assists providers in strengthening programs by promoting the implementation of evidence-based practices and best practices. In addition, OVP works in partnership with SDSU Institute for Public Health to provide academic review of programs, presentations, and curricula for violence prevention.
