| Summary: The decedent was a 74 year old female whose marital status and residence are unconfirmed at this time. On 5/25/2012, she was the restrained front seat passenger of a silver Toyota Camry being driven by a male, traveling southbound on highway 67. At one point, a pick-up truck traveling northbound lost control, entered southbound lanes, and collided with the Camry. Another vehicle, a Toyota Corolla, was also involved in the collision. The decedent and the driver (ME#12-1128) were pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics without medical intervention. Two occupants of the pick-up truck (ME#12-1130, #12-1131) were also pronounced dead at the scene. Occupants of the Toyota Corolla were transported to area hospitals. An examination has not yet been performed. Identification will be released once legal next of kin has been notified. |

For unknown reasons, the vehicle veered off the road and went down an embankment. Nearby Border Patrol officers responded to the scene and requested medical aid. The decedent was transported via Mercy Air to Sharp Memorial Hospital where death was pronounced. |

On 05/19/12, the decedent was a rear seat passenger of motorcycle driven by her husband who was traveling westbound on SR 78 when he entered a right curve at a high rate of speed and entered the eastbound lane and side swiped another motorcyclist traveling opposite direction. The riders were all ejected from the motorcycles onto the roadway. 911 was called and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
